Mantènghja is a purebred wine, intense and soft, that evolves with the years. Sold after 4 years from the harvest in order to better express itself, Mantènghja in the Gallura dialect is a blessing. An IGT Isola dei Nuraghi. Matured for 12 months in barriques and for 12 months in big barrels. To the eyes it presents itself of a dark red colour with intense purple hues. It has a great intensity and concentration, to the nose we perceive intense fruity perfumes of blackberries, ribes, blueberries, juniper, mint, coffee and chocolate. Its taste is full-bodied, warm, rounded and pulpy; to the palate its fruit is mature, and the wine’s persistence ends in an enveloping finale, sustained by a tannic flavour. This wine is ideal to accompany typical Sardinian cold cuts, play and mature cheeses. In the magnum version it comes with its original wooden box.
