Cannonau di Sardegna DOC. To the eyes it has a bright and intense ruby red colour with maroon hues, with delicate scents that stretch from violets, roses, to red fruits, to aromatic herbs notes. In the mouth it is soft, sapid, rounded and tasty, with fresh wild berries aroma sustained by a good acidic streak that makes it fresh and easy to drink. A Cannonau wine appreciated for its easy drinkability and its softness. It goes particularly well with cold cuts aperitifs, first courses and pizzaz with tomato sauce and meat dressing, quiches with cheeses and vegetables, grilled red meats, semi-mature sheep and cow cheeses.
