Traditionally prepared with a scalding sheep’s broth or a broth with lardo and parsley, today the Zichi bread is accompanied with fish sauces, fresh tomatoes, mushrooms, artichokes and fish roe, eggplants and salted ricotta cheese, and Genovese pesto.
