Bacco Carignano Isola dei Nuraghi Igt 14,5% 75cl Siddura
Bàcco Riserva is a full-bodied, complex Carignano from southwestern Sardinia. Notes of redcurrant, preserved berries, Mediterranean herbs, and sweet spices. Fruity, persistent, and well-balanced.
Bàcco Riserva comes from the most renowned area in Sardinia for Carignano, in the island’s southwest, where the grape was introduced by the Phoenicians in the 9th century BC and later spread during Roman times. This wine embodies centuries of history and the deep identity of a unique land. Its flavor and aroma profile reflect the terroir: a landscape dominated by Mediterranean scrub, where myrtle, strawberry tree, lentisk, and helichrysum define the environment — a space suspended between earth and sky. In the glass, it shows a deep ruby red color. On the nose, it’s rich and complex, opening with redcurrant and preserved berries, followed by elegant hints of Mediterranean herbs and sweet spices. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with a persistent fruity character, finishing in a delicate play of freshness and subtle tannins.
