Grappa di Vernaccia 40% 70cl Az. Contini
The Grappa di Vernaccia of the Contini Winery is obtained exclusively from grape marc of Vernaccia di Oristano, coming from the typical production area of Vernaccia: the lower valley of the river Tirso, in northern Campidano.
The pomace, immediately after soft pressing, is fermented in special containers, with an airtight closure and controlled temperature, to ensure the best conditions for alcoholic fermentation. At the end of fermentation, the marc has fragrant and fruity aromas typical of white grapes, obtained thanks to the complete absence of air. The next stage of distillation of the marc is very slow, discontinuous. The resulting product is then left to mature for about ten months in stainless steel containers.
Amber yellow in colour, the aroma is intense, characteristic, justly penetrating. The taste is full, dry, typical.
