Soprasole Vermentino di Sardegna Doc 12,5% Pala
Soprasole Vermentino di Sardegna DOC, white wine made from Vermentino grapes grown on calcareous soils. Fresh and savoury, with notes of citrus, lime, white flowers and Mediterranean scrub.
An authentic expression of Sardinian winemaking tradition, Soprasole Vermentino di Sardegna DOC embodies the charm of a light-kissed area, where white cliffs meet the intense green of the vineyards and the Mediterranean breeze accompanies the ripening of the grapes. Produced from Vermentino grapes grown in the Is Crabilis vineyard in Ussana, this white wine is made from 45-year-old vines, located at an altitude between 150 and 180 metres above sea level, on calcareous soils that help define its character and pleasant flavour.
Winemaking involves soft pressing of the grapes and fermentation in stainless steel tanks, with natural yeasts and at a controlled temperature of 15 °C, to preserve the freshness and aromatic expressiveness of Vermentino. Subsequently, the wine ages for four months in steel in contact with its own yeasts, developing balance and personality without losing its territorial imprint.
In the chalice it appears with a bright straw yellow with delicate greenish reflections. On the nose it conquers with a persistent floral bouquet, enriched with herbaceous nuances and fresh lime notes. On the palate it reveals its entire Mediterranean soul, with hints of scrub, white flowers and citrus that intertwine harmoniously with a pleasant savouriness, providing a fresh, lively and persistent sensation.
Versatile and elegant, the Soprasole is the ideal companion to accompany aperitifs, seafood appetizers, shellfish, grilled fish and Mediterranean cuisine. It is the perfect wine for those who want to bring the scents of Sardinia to the table and be won over by a white that combines freshness, authenticity and character in every sip.
