De Chelu in the Sardinian language means "from the sky". A saccarine myrtle-based liqueur obtained from the highest quality raw materials that gifts a unique taste experience.
This typical Sardinian liqueur is obtained from the hydroalcoholic infusion of 1Kg of Wild Black Myrtle Berries per litre of alcohol, a clearly higher quantity compared to the original recipe. To produce it, as per usual with De Chelu products, only raw materials of the highest quality rare used, that gifts a unique taste experience.
This particular recipe and the choice of not filtering the infusion with the traditional methods but using a slow resting method and the following dispensing, if it is true that is slows down the production cycle and increases the production costs it is undeniable that it gives the liqueur a strong taste and an intense scent.
The Intense Myrtle liqueur is not too sweet and it has notes of Mediterranean shrub, fresh fruit and a pleasant delicate bitter note that one perceives at the end of the tasting.
This liqueur is integrated in specific Ho.Re.Ca. institutions that have quality as a strong point.
Serving temperature between 2°C and 4°C. It is suggested to mix it well before serving.
