Su’entu Winery is located a few kilometres from the small town of Sanluri, in the Marilla territory, where the agricultural tradition dates back to many years ago. The area’s clayey-limestone soil is poor, yet perfect for the vines, as they find the ideal conditions to produce grapes from which high-quality wines are made. Following the steps of the founder, Salvatore Pilloni, the winery is now managed by Valeria, Roberta and Nicola Pilloni. It has a great clearness to the eyes, a bright and strong ruby red colour. At the nose it is seductive and with a good intensity, right from the start one can perceive cherry and wild blackberries memories, that later leave room to layers of mastic tree and Mediterranean Shrub. The wine’s bright acidity and delicious flavours coupled with a saline burst provide immediate drinking pleasure. We suggest you pair this versatile red wine with traditional local bites as an aperitif or with Carloforte red tuna tataki.
