Su’entu Winery is located a few kilometres from the small town of Sanluri, in the Marilla territory, where the agricultural tradition dates back to many years ago. The area’s clayey-limestone soil is poor, yet perfect for the vines, as they find the ideal conditions to produce grapes from which high-quality wines are made. Following the steps of the founder, Salvatore Pilloni, the winery is now managed by Valeria, Roberta and Nicola Pilloni. It appears of a ruby red colour with orange tinges to the eyes. It is appealing to the nose, this wine reveals enticing floral notes and red berry aromas joined by a sweet resin finale. The palate is accessible with a lovely freshness, supported b softened floral tannins. Food-friendly wine, we suggest you try it with savoury starters or first courses; it goes very well with semi-mature cheeses.
