One of the great challenges of Capichera: vinify first the Vermentino in wooden barriques. After the fermentation and the maturing, the VT is being placed on the market not before two years after the harvesting of the grapes. Then it can express its strong character, unmistakable and deep, so deep that it can be considered the most representative wine of the high quality of Capichera. From white grapes, it is crystal-clear, pale-yellow coloured with golden shades. Intense scent, citrusy notes, orange and lemon flowers, aromatic herbs, wisteria, lavender, honey. To the palate it stands out a vivid, intense, rich and dry taste. Ideal to accompany blue and matured cheeses, spoon desserts and pies.
